The workshop area was designed to suit the steelwork fabrication process with large crane runway beams set up to run the full length of the workshop at two levels to allow cranes to transition from end to end. Special slab rebates were provided for the abrasive blast facilities and rails were set into the slab for running the trolleys used to move fabricated steelwork.

Canterbury Metalwork New Workshop and Office Development
Located in the Waterloo Park industrial area this project involved the construction of a 1,600m² steelwork fabrication workshop with 260m² of attached office space and was one of the first developments completed on site.
