It needed to be 6.5m wide and 3.5m tall to allow a groomer to fit through on a 10 degree slope. This is the sort of design brief that structural engineers dream of, especially those who love to ski.

The final solution is a reinforced concrete arch with concrete side walls. Mt Hutt used their terrain park feature pipes to construct the formwork. Bradford Building did a fantastic job dealing with the extreme weather conditions, and what can only be described as 'difficult' site access. Diggers and helicopters were both utilised to get the concrete to site.
